The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) will perform monthly renewal processing on the Medi-Cal Eligibility Data System (MEDS) starting at 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023. During this time MEDS, MEDSLITE, and interface connections to MEDS will not be accessible during the monthly MEDS renewal processing period.
Interface Connections to MEDS include:
- Health Exchange Medi-Cal Interface (HEMI) Web Services to CalHEERS
- Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE)
- Child Health and Disability Prevention Program (CHDP)
- Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program (BCCTP)
- Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PE4PW)
- COVID-19 Presumptive Eligibility
- OMBUDSMAN MEDS Inquiry interface
- Medical Site Records Review Project (MSRP) MEDS Inquiry Interface
- Women Infants & Children’s (WIC) program MEDS Inquiry Interface
- Post Adjudicated Claims and Encounters System (PACES)
- Short Doyle Medi-Cal (SDMC) Production Adjudication System
Users are advised not to access MEDS, MEDSLITE, and interface connections to MEDS until the monthly MEDS renewal processing is completed.
